The mechanisms of Clostridium butyricum
The gut fights in very front-line defending the health, its barrier functions are important shields to keep out the pathogens and other harmful substance. Lets see how Clostridium butyricum can contribute to these barriers. First is physical barrier, Clostridium butyricum induces the expression of tight junction protein gene, enhance the connection between cells, reduce cell permeability, regulate the apoptosis process of epithelial cell and effectively protect the integrity of intestine. Second is the chemical barrier, Clostridium butyricum promotes the secretion of antimicrobial and defensive substance by the epithelial cells; Clostridium butyricum also adhere to epithelial cells to stimulate the secretion of mucin, which forms a protective layer between intestinal mucosa and pathogens; moreover, Clostridium butyricum produces vast organic acids, reduce the pH to create an acidic environment which is very friendly for good bacteria but not friendly for the bad ones.
Why probiotic is the best solution to help animal farming business to stay profitable
Probiotics is not feed, but can improve digestion and absorption of feed; its not medicine, but can prevent, control and treat diseases. Probiotics has both biological function of medicine and nutrient composition of feed. Nowdays, probiotic solutions are becoming more and more accepted by the animal farming all around the world, some regions earlier than others, the trend is very clear, the prospects of probiotic is very promising. In my next video, I will talk about a rising super star in probiotic family - Clostridium Butyricum, to explore its outstanding features and what it can do to make animal farming easier.
How does probiotic improve the gut health?
probiotic is in fact compatible with antibiotics, for example, probioitcs help animals quickly back to health and recover from side effects caused by antibiotics, they can work along, not together, but taking turns, normally few days gap. So, using antibiotics sometimes would be a necessary solution but probiotic is truly a better way. I have listed some key differences for probiotics and antibiotics, so we will have a clear understanding of the idea.
Why gut health is so important to animal farming business
A healthy intestine means having good digestive function, complete structure, good barrier function, stable mircoflora and efficient immune system. These factors are interrelated and interact with each other like teamwork.
Why can the compound bacteria based on Clostridium butyricum replace antibiotics in aquaculture?
First of all, it's ture that nothing can replace anything; It is very significant that the advantages, efficacy, mechanism and the changes brought by antibiotics to our lives.
Outstanding features of Clostridium Butyricum
The key strength of JBH Bio can be summarized into two aspects, R&D and productivity. We are the biggest producer of Clostridium butyricum in the world and we have the best scientists who dedicated themselves to ensure the stability and quality of our products, especially for the strain screening & breeding process and medium optimization process, as well as the production and result inspections. The combination of these two strength give us the competitive advantages in terms of price and quality. Our company motto is to create value for our clients and maximize our clients’ benefits by all means, not only by providing the best product, but also *exclusive services, including product *formulation; technical support; research projects; staff training; business model design and other services our clients may need from us.
Four major misunderstandings about Bacillus subtilis
Bacillus is often used in aquaculture, there are many different types, including: subtilis, lichens, laterosporus, etc., of which the Bacillus subtilis is the most common.
How to get through liver development phase safely for white shrimps?
liver development phase of white shrimps means dietary change, and poor intestinal function can lead to hepatopancreas dysplasia and even death

The safety of Clostridium butyricum in chickens for fattening
As no adverse response was seen when C.butyricum was included in diets at 100 times the recommended dose, the FEEDAP Panel concludes that the product is safe for chickens for fattening at the recommended dose.
The safety of Clostridium butyricum
Miyarisan has sold preparations of CBM 588 in Japan and other Asian countries for both human and animal use since the 1960s with no adverse events or reports of allergenicity (Confidential Annex 2). Published in vitro and in vivo data and a long history of safe use in humans in Asian countries help support CBM 588 as a safe strain for use in food supplements in the EU (e.g. Confidential Annex 4; Fujita et al 1986; Fujita & Takashi, 1986, 1987; Imase et al 2008; Ito et al 1997; Kamiya et al 1997; Kitajo et al 1990, 1991; Kobashi et al 1983, 1976; Kobayashi et al 1976; Kurata et al 1988; Kuroiwa et al 1990a, 1990b; Maebashi et al 1998; Nakatsuji et al 1995; Okabayashi & Kobari 1994; Seki et al 2003; Shimbo et al 2005; Taguchi et al 1988; Takahashi et al 2000, 2004; Takeda et al 1976, 1983, Yuzawa et al 1987a, b, c; Zhang et al 1998).

Discuss the commercial application prospect of Clostridium butyricum in animal husbandry industry
Clostridium butyricum is a kind of butyric-producing gram-positive anaerobic bacteria of Clostridium genus in the Bacillus genus. Clostridium butyricum is a strict anaerobic bacterium, which can fully adapt to the anaerobic environment of animal intestinal tract and regulate the balance of intestinal flora in various ways. Clostridium butyricum can produce a large amount of butyric acid in the intestine, especially in the posterior part of the intestine. Butyric acid is the energy source of intestinal cells and plays an important role in the regeneration and repair of intestinal epithelial tissue.
The application of compound probiotics in aquaculture of high-protein diet
Complete feed is the most common diet needed by aquaculture animals to maintain body growth, especially in the growing period of aquaculture animals, it is necessary to feed a large amount of high-protein complete feed continuously to maintain stable growth rate. However, due to the high protein content and fat content in the process of aquaculture animals, the liver burden of aquaculture animals will be increased, leading to the occurrence of steatohepatitis. At the same time, due to the rising price of fish meal, in order to improve protein content, adding plant protein into the feed formula will lead to poor palatability of feed, and anti-nutritional factors in plant protein will also affect the growth performance of aquaculture animals.
