Japanese eels are widely distributed in the western Pacific waters between Hokkaido and the Philippines, mainly in Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Chinese mainland, the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese Islands (except in some northern regions). With resource exhaustion and fishing quotas, international fish meal prices rising, led to the feed prices rise, and eel prices remain depressed, breeding end of feed price acceptance ability is limited, on the other hand, some farmers in order to reduce costs, through their own purchasing raw materials with feed, directly hinder the normal growth of eel nutrition demand and product quality. Therefore, it is of great significance to adjust the eel breeding intestinal health and enhance the intestinal function in the actual breeding.
Experimental case:
Test material:
C. butyricum 1.0×1010CFU / g powder
Usage mode:
50g / T feed, feed twice a day in the morning and evening. The test period is 30 days.
Experimental result:

In summary:
In the test group, the intestinal mucosa was long and thin, with intact striate margin and uniform shape, the epithelial cell nucleus was neatly arranged at the cell base, and the number of goblet cells increased, the number of mucosal folds increased, and the myometrial thickness was thickened. It shows that C. butyricum can effectively improve the structure and morphology of Japanese eel intestine, promote the height of mucosal folds, the number of goblet cells, and the microvilli grow dense and evenly distributed, increase the intestinal absorption area, can improve the digestion and absorption rate of feed; the increase of goblet cells, enhance the self-protection and repair ability of intestinal cells. In the trial, the number of hindgut and foregut mucosa increased the most, and the number of mucosal fold increased more significantly, and the number of the midgut and the cup increased the most, which was more significant than the foregut, proving that the beneficial effect of C. butyricum on the eel hindgut was more stronger.
