Misunderstanding 1: Bacillus subtilis is not suitable for aquaculture because of its high oxygen consumption.

Truth: Bacillus subtilis ability to purify water is to decompose large organic matter into small molecules and provide nutrients for algae. Bacillus laterosporus can inhibit cyanobacteria effectively and Bacillus licheniformis is better at suppressing potentially dangerous bacteria.

Misunderstanding 3: Fish and shrimp will be poisoned if swallowed Bacillus subtilis

Misunderstanding 4: Using Bacillus subtilis when the disease will increase the death of fish and shrimp
