The countries with developed fur animal breeding in the world are mainly concentrated in Denmark and Finland mainly in northern Europe, Canada and the United States mainly in North America, and Asia mainly in China. In the world skin trade volume, mink skin accounts for 89% of all skin trade, fox skin accounts for about 7%, and raccoon dog skin accounts for 4% to 5%.
However, there are also several problems in the fur animal breeding industry:
1.Weak provenance foundation
2.Production technology is not suitable for large-scale breeding
3.More diseases
4.Environmental protection pressure
5.Biological information technology and intelligent technology are weak.
Ensuring the health and performance of animal body in breeding is crucial to fur animal breeding.
Gut health is related to the overall health and production efficiency of animals, while the gut also determines the health and performance of animals. The intestine is one of the most important organs and tissues of animals, is the channel connecting animals and the outside world, and is also the processing plant of nutrients in animal diet, affecting the digestibility and absorption rate of nutrients and nutrient regulators in the body. We know that C. butyricum is the first choice of probiotics to solve intestinal problems, and the promoting effects of C. butyricum on fur animal farming can be show through the following experimental data on common fur animals raccoon dogs to show you.
Experiment Subjects: Uzuli raccoon dogs
Experimental method: 30 usuri raccoon dogs, half male and female, age (about 110 days old), weight (5.88 ± 0.70) kg, raccoon dogs were randomly divided into three groups, 10 in each group were fed basic diet without probiotics, antibiotics and other preparations. 1 and 2 groups were added 1.25×10*8 CFU / kg and 2.50 ×10*8 CFU / kg to the basic diet, and the breeding cycle was 60d.
Experimental result:
1. Growth performance and fecal condition:
The average daily weight gain of raccoon dogs from 1 to 60 d was significantly higher than that of the control group, which had the best weight gain; the fecal condition of 1 and 2 raccoon dogs also improved significantly; the diarrhea rate of 1 and 2 groups was 20% and 31% lower than the control group.
2. Serum biochemical indexes:
The activity in groups 1 and 2 was significantly lower than in the control group.
3. Serum antioxidant index:
The total antioxidant capacity level of raccoon dogs in groups 1 and 2 was slightly higher than that in the control group, indicating that C. butyricum had a certain role in alleviating the decrease in antioxidant capacity caused by external stress in raccoon dogs during the breeding period.
Sum up:
The addition of different levels of C. butyricum in the diet can improve the average daily weight gain, fat digestibility, serum IgA content and antioxidant enzyme activity in mink, and can significantly reduce the serum MDA level of mink. It shows that the addition of C. butyricum in the feed can improve the growth performance, antioxidant and immune function of mink. Under the test conditions, 0.5×10*8 CFU /g of C. butyricum was the most effective.
The supplementation of 1.25×10*8 CFU / kg and 2.50×10*8CFU / kg to raccoon dogs can effectively improve the daily weight gain, reduce the diarrhea rate, alleviate environmental stress and improve the antioxidant ability of the body.
