(Summary description)Gut health is related to the overall health and production efficiency of animals, while the gut also determines the health and performance of animals. The intestine is one of the most important organs and tissues of animals, is the channel connecting animals and the outside world, and is also the processing plant of nutrients in animal diet, affecting the digestibility and absorption rate of nutrients and nutrient regulators in the body. We know that C. butyricum is the first choice of probiotics to solve intestinal problems, and the promoting effects of C. butyricum on fur animal farming can be show through the following experimental data on common fur animals mink.

The countries with developed fur animal breeding in the world are mainly concentrated in Denmark and Finland mainly in northern Europe, Canada and the United States mainly in North America, and Asia mainly in China. In the world skin trade volume, mink skin accounts for 89% of all skin trade, fox skin accounts for about 7%, and raccoon dog skin accounts for 4% to 5%.

However, there are also several problems in the fur animal breeding industry:
1.Weak provenance foundation
2.Production technology is not suitable for large-scale breeding
3.More diseases
4.Environmental protection pressure
5.Biological information technology and intelligent technology are weak.
Ensuring the health and performance of animal body in breeding is crucial to fur animal breeding.
Gut health is related to the overall health and production efficiency of animals, while the gut also determines the health and performance of animals.
Experiment Subjects: red-eyed, white mink
Experimental method: 40 healthy male red-eye mink (60 ± 5) days old and of similar weight [(1.08 ± 0.05) kg] were randomly divided into 4 groups of 10 mink per group. In group I was the control group, fed mink basal diet, groups II, III and IV, and those supplemented with C. butyricum 0.5×10*8cfu / g, 1×10*8cfu / g and 2×10*8cfu / g . The mink in each group were reared in a single test cage of 35d, and they drank water freely.
experimental result:
1. Growth performance:

The average daily weight gain of mink in groups III and IV increased by 22.4% and 28.4% compared with group I, respectively
2. Apparent digestibility:

Compared with group I, II, III and IV mink increased by 17.2%, 17.3%, 17.3% and 15.4%, respectively
3. Serum antioxidant profile:

Compared with group I, II, III, IV mink serum MDA was decreased by 40.2%, 49.4%, 51.7%, respectively, T-SOD activity was significantly increased by 25.3%, and II, III, IV mink serum was increased by 86.9%, 36.6%, 36.9%, respectively. C. butyricum significantly enhanced the antioxidant capacity of mink serum.
4. Serum immunity:

The IgA content in II, III, and IV mink increased by 136.1%, 383.3%, and 125.0%, respectively, compared with group I. C. butyricum significantly increased the mink immunoglobulin A content.
